Defense Ministry Issues New Statement

The statement released by the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense claiming that on May 2, the Armenian Armed Forces units opened fire towards Azerbaijani positions located in the eastern section of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border is not true. This was announced by the Republic of Armenia's Ministry of Defense.

The situation along the Armenian-Azerbaijani border is relatively stable and is under the full control of the Armenian Armed Forces.
