Tents Set Up at France Square

Tents have been set up at France Square. As earlier reported by the Vice Speaker of the National Assembly, Ishkhan Saghatelyan, the opposition will begin a large-scale disobedience action tomorrow at 8:30 AM.

“Starting tomorrow, many streets and highways will be closed. I apologize to all our citizens for the inconvenience we are causing, but we must understand that this is a matter of days; we need to endure these few days, face hardships, and be present in the streets to achieve results. After that, we will have solidarity, justice, and unity in Armenia,” he said.

I. Saghatelyan also called for maintaining public order during the acts of disobedience. “We will not engage in conflict with citizens who hold different views; they are our brothers and sisters, our compatriots. We need to explain to them that we are fighting for them as well. Secondly, we will not cause disorder,” he stated.
