From This Moment On, We Will Not Leave the Area, We Are Starting Civil Disobedience Protests: Saghatelyan on Plans
Opposition leader Ishkhan Saghatelyan stated that from today, France Square belongs to the people, and from this moment on, they will not leave that area.
"You said you would return home, we said the time would come and we would stay; today is that day, we will stay. From this moment on, this square belongs to the people, from this moment on, the power in Armenia is the people. Therefore, we will remain here, set up tents, and tomorrow starting at 8:30, we will begin large-scale civil disobedience protests," said Ishkhan Saghatelyan.
He noted that this is not a power seizure but rather the constitutional right of the citizens.
