Yerevan State University Lecturer Charged with Taking Bribes from Students

A charge has been filed against the deputy dean for accepting bribes from students and committing official forgery. The preliminary investigation of the criminal case has been completed.

Based on sufficient evidence obtained during the investigation by the Anti-Corruption Committee of the Republic of Armenia, it has been established that A. T., from 2002 to 2022, while serving as the deputy dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Mechanics at Yerevan State University (YSU), holding the title of associate professor and being a member of the faculty's management collegial body, illegally received bribes from students and committed official forgery.
