Parliament Leadership Breeds Rabbits: 'Hraparak'
'Hraparak' newspaper reports that rabbits have appeared in the National Assembly since yesterday. The leadership of the parliament has decided to establish a farm to breed rabbits in addition to updating the vehicle fleet. Previously, one could encounter squirrels in the parliament's garden; now, there are also rabbits.
The spokesperson for the Speaker of the National Assembly, Tsovinar Khachatryan, stated that the rabbits have been acquired with the personal funds of the chief of staff, Vahan Naribekyan, and there are seven of them. 'As there are currently landscape changes being made in the parliament garden, these rabbits will be viewed as decoration. They have also been brought to the garden for an event planned for June 1 for children.'
Since rabbits breed quickly, there is a risk that they may be relocated from the garden later on and form a separate faction.
