Moscow Will Not Invite Any Foreign Leaders to Victory Day Celebrations, Peskov

Moscow has not invited any foreign leaders to this year's Victory Day celebrations, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Friday.

“We have not invited any foreign leaders for Victory Day. The fact is that this year is not a commemorative anniversary. This is our celebration, this is a sacred holiday for all of Russia, for all Russians. But we have not invited foreign leaders,” said the Kremlin spokesperson.

According to him, the participation of Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko in these events is also not expected. “As far as I know, no, he is not planning to participate,” Peskov said in response to a relevant question.
