Vladimir Gasparyan's Departure from Armenia is Restricted

The Anti-Corruption Committee of Armenia has issued a statement, which we present below:

“Considering the unreliable information and comments circulating in the media and social networks regarding the absence of the former Chief of Police of Armenia, Vladimir Gasparyan, from the Republic of Armenia in connection with the criminal case against him, as well as the need to prevent the spread of this misinformation and avoid unnecessary speculation, we find it necessary to inform you that Vladimir Gasparyan is currently in Armenia and just days ago personally participated in the investigative and other procedural actions related to the ongoing criminal case against him. His departure from the Republic of Armenia is restricted.”
