Erdogan Announces Resolution of Issues with Armenia in the Near Future

According to a publication in the Turkish media outlet "Türkiyegazetesi" titled "Erdogan's Message Regarding Armenia: Our Issues Will Be Resolved Soon," President Recep Tayyip Erdogan mentioned during an iftar with representatives of minority groups that the topic of Armenia-Turkey relations came up.

The author of the publication (Ebru Karatosun) reported that Erdogan stated the process of normalization with Armenia is ongoing, and that trade would also resume soon, resolving existing issues.

"We are discussing with Armenia. God willing, the borders will be opened, and we will establish friendly relations together," Erdogan reportedly said, according to the author's information.
