Which Countries Have Withdrawn Their Capital from Armenia

According to the newspaper "Zhoghovurd," the Statistical Committee of the Republic of Armenia has published the volumes of foreign investments made last year. Accordingly, total investments have significantly increased. In 2021, the volume of foreign investments was 204 billion 823 million drams.

During the previous year, there were countries that withdrew their direct investments from Armenia. The capital exported from Armenia to France amounted to 1 billion 116 million 700 thousand drams.

For example, Georgia withdrew 11 million drams of its capital from Armenia, while Italy increased the volume of direct investments.

It is worth noting that the volume of Russian investments has also been exported from Armenia. The Russian Federation withdrew 59 billion 616 million drams in capital from Armenia in 2020, while last year made an investment of 40 billion 133 million drams.
