VIDEO: Pilot Stages Plane Crash for YouTube Views – How the 'Disaster' Was Uncovered
A pilot has staged a plane crash for YouTube views. His actions were uncovered due to common oversights, reports На видео видно channel.
In December, YouTuber Trevor Jacob published a dramatic video on his channel. The story starts with an ordinary flight through beautiful landscapes. But then suddenly something goes wrong, and Trevor, cursing, parachutes out of the cockpit, while the airplane plummets into a steep descent and crashes to the ground.
To the misfortune of the pilot, the plane did not crash just anywhere, but in the vicinity of a national park in Southern California. As a result, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) examined the video and concluded that Trevor had deliberately staged the disaster for YouTube views.
Trevor's 'hoax' was revealed through several details: the YouTuber wore a sports parachute backpack during the flight, opened the door before the 'malfunction,' the pilot did not even attempt to restart the engine, he did not communicate with the dispatcher before the jump, and he jumped from the cockpit with a selfie stick.
For such actions, Trevor has had his license revoked.
