Gagik Beglaryan on Rejoining Former Party Members

Today, while an awareness demonstration was taking place on the streets of Yerevan, former minister and former mayor of Yerevan Gagik Beglaryan was sitting in one of the cafes near the "Moskva" cinema. This was reported by "Aravot".

From his seat, he waved to Karine Ajemyan, the president of the Republican Women’s Council, who was walking with the youth.

When asked by Aravot.am what plans he has for the future in Armenia, Gagik Beglaryan replied, "None."

To the question of whether he would join the demonstration of his former party members, Gagik Beglaryan responded, "No, no, no past, no present."

In response to the comment asking what he would be doing, sitting at the next table, former Prime Minister's assistant Nairi Sargsyan remarked, "He will be engaged in business."

When we inquired whether Nairi Sargsyan would be collaborating on business projects with Gagik Beglaryan, Sargsyan smiled and shook his head negatively.

To our next question on what he would be doing in Armenia after a change of power, Nairi Sargsyan shifted uneasily and stated, "There will be no change of power in Armenia in the next ten years."

In response to our observation that the ruling party of the CPP and any government is not eternal, and that a change of power will inevitably happen one day, Nairi Sargsyan agreed and mentioned that he too would engage in business after a change of power.

As for what specific business interests Nairi Sargsyan has, he admitted he does not yet know and is studying the field.

When asked how he plans to accumulate funds for future business activities while working in a public office, Nairi Sargsyan sarcastically replied, "With the looted money."
