Azerbaijan's Aliyev: Armenia Will Realize This is the Only Path to Regional Security
Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev met with Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili on Wednesday, as reported by the official website of the Azerbaijani president.
During the meeting, Aliyev addressed the theme of economic cooperation, particularly highlighting new opportunities in the transportation sector.
The Azerbaijani president emphasized that there are new opportunities, especially in transportation. Aliyev pointed out that Baku and Tbilisi share common views on the development of the South Caucasus, stating that there are good opportunities for trilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Armenia, especially in the post-conflict period, and noted that the Azerbaijani side is ready for this.
Aliyev also mentioned that Georgia shares this position and expressed hope that Armenia will understand that this is the only path to establishing stability and security in the region.
