A Criminal Case Opened Against 419 Members of the Russian State Duma in Ukraine

The Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine has initiated a case against 419 members of the Russian State Duma for attempting to violate the territorial integrity of the country. This was announced in a statement on the agency's Telegram channel, as reported by Life.ru.

“The notification procedure regarding the suspicion of the president of the lower house of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and all 418 deputies for violating the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine has been completed...” the statement noted.

According to the investigation, the majority of Russian parliamentarians supported a resolution requesting that the President of the Russian Federation consider the request to recognize the DNR and LNR as sovereign republics. It was mentioned that the preliminary investigation is being conducted by the investigative departments of the regional offices of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau.
