Turkey Considers Purchasing a Second Batch of S-400s from Russia
The head of Turkey's defense industry agency, Ismail Demir, has announced that the republic is still considering the possibility of purchasing a second batch of S-400 surface-to-air missile systems from Russia, according to TRT Haber.
He noted that Turkey expected to acquire the Russian S-400s regardless of what the United States thinks about it. "Turkey continues to make its decision from the very beginning," he said in an interview.
Earlier, Demir had referred to the S-400 as one of the best air defense systems in the world.
