Marine Le Pen Confirms Candidacy for June Parliamentary Elections

Former presidential candidate of France and leader of the "National Rally" party, Marine Le Pen, has confirmed that she will be running in the parliamentary elections scheduled for June, reports Figaro.

According to the publication, Le Pen announced her intention to participate in the French parliamentary elections from the Pas-de-Calais department. Le Pen has been a member of the French National Assembly since 2017, representing the 11th electoral district of Pas-de-Calais.

The parliamentary elections in France will take place in two rounds, on June 12 and 19.

It is worth noting that the second round of the presidential elections took place in France on April 24, where Emmanuel Macron and extreme right leader Marine Le Pen were competing for the presidency. According to the French Ministry of the Interior, after counting 100% of the ballots, Macron received 58.54% of the votes, while Le Pen garnered 41.46%.
