Kyiv Seeks to Draw Moldova and Transnistria into Conflict: Source

Kyiv is striving to draw Moldova and Transnistria into conflict, as evidenced by shelling and terrorism, a source from the government circles in Transnistria told RIA Novosti.

"It is clear that Kyiv is seeking to involve Moldova and Transnistria in the conflict that erupted in Ukraine due to its actions," the source stated.

The source also added that "Ukraine is provoking the spread of the conflict into the territories of Transnistria." Earlier, the unrecognized Transnistrian Moldovan Republic declared a 'red' level of terrorist threat, which includes additional measures to ensure the safety of individuals, society, and the state.
