Remains of Man Missing Since Last Year Discovered

On April 22, human remains and torn clothing were found in a stream near the village of Vardanidzor. This information has been reported by the Armenian Police.

As a result of joint operational-search activities and investigative actions by the officers of the Syunik Regional Police, the Meghri Division, and the regional investigative department, it was revealed that the discovered remains belong to Lyudvig Sargsyan, who was reported missing on August 22 of last year by the Meghri police.

A forensic examination has been appointed. An investigation is underway.
