Wreckage of 'Moscow' Cruiser Part of Ukraine's Cultural Heritage, Says Ukrainian Defense Ministry

The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense has declared the wreckage of the 'Moscow' cruiser as an object of Ukraine's underwater cultural heritage. This information comes from a statement released by the Ukrainian Defense Ministry.

The 'Moscow' missile cruiser was the flagship of the Russian Navy and has been assigned the registration number 2064 in Ukraine's underwater cultural heritage registry. According to the UNESCO convention, all traces of human activity on the seabed are considered the property of our state within the limits of its economic activity in the Black Sea.
