Son-in-law Opens Fire at Father-in-law, Son-in-law, and Mother-in-law in Nalbandyan Village: Police Details

On April 22, at 00:15, the operational management center of the police received a report that there were gunshots on the road leading from Nor Armavir to Nalbandyan. Preliminary information indicated that one citizen had been taken to the hospital, while another was found lying on the ground.

A dispatched operational-investigative group discovered that around 00:05, during an argument in the yard of a house in Nalbandyan village, the son-in-law of the homeowner, a 44-year-old resident of the same village, opened fire using a 12 mm caliber hunting rifle registered in his name. He shot at the homeowner, his wife, and son, resulting in fatal injuries to the 68-year-old homeowner, Edik Martirosyan, who was wounded in the head. His 40-year-old son and 71-year-old wife were also injured and taken to the hospital.

The 44-year-old man later turned himself in to the Armavir police department and surrendered the rifle, which contained six bullets. He has been arrested. Various examinations have been ordered, and an investigation is underway.
