Has a meeting offer been made by the NSS director? Vanetsyan comments

Last night went normally, many citizens remained with us at Freedom Square, expressing their presence. This was stated today at Freedom Square by the former head of the NSS and leader of the "Homeland" party, Arthur Vanetsyan, during a conversation with journalists.

When asked why the police allowed only young people who have declared a hunger strike to set up tents after negotiations yesterday, but did not allow Vanetsyan to set up a tent, he responded: "These questions should be directed to the police, but I don't think it's a decision of the police; rather, it is a decision of the political authority. They see that the movement that started at Freedom Square is not gathering momentum day by day, but hour by hour, and they are trying to stop the progress of the movement in any way. However, I am confident that they will not succeed. I came here alone, and now Freedom Square is crowded with people of various political views and preferences."

In response to the question about former NSS Deputy Director Mikael Hambartsumyan stating that Arthur Vanetsyan raises issues related to the country's security and that the NSS director should visit him, Vanetsyan said: "Mikael Hambartsumyan points out correctly that there are security issues, but there has been no proposal to contact me or to visit from the current NSS director."

Arthur Vanetsyan reiterated that the struggle at Freedom Square is for the homeland and called for people to come to Freedom Square.
