Attention: Certain Streets Will Be Closed on the 107th Anniversary of the Genocide
In connection with the 107th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, traffic will be restricted on several streets in the capital starting from 19:30 on April 23, to ensure the safety of participants in the torchlight march.
Specifically, traffic will be partially banned on Republic Square, Amiryan Street, Mashtots and Baghramyan Avenues, and Kievyan Street.
Additionally, on April 24, starting from 06:00, traffic will be restricted from Leningrad Street towards Tsitsernakaberd Highway, from the intersection of Isakov and Athens Streets towards Athens Street, and from the bridge adjacent to the Yerevan HPP in the Hrazdan Gorge towards Isakov Avenue, including Verfel Street towards Brazil Square. This is to ensure the safety of participants attending the commemoration ceremony at the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex.
Furthermore, on the same day, from 09:00 to 10:30, access to the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex will be closed to ensure the safety of participants in the official state ceremony.
