Who the French Consider the Winner of the Famous TV Debate: Details

According to a survey conducted by Elabe, current French President and presidential candidate Emmanuel Macron has been recognized as the winner of the televised debate with his opponent, following the majority opinion of viewers.

According to the survey, 59% of respondents named Macron as the 'winner', while 39% favored Marine Le Pen. Additionally, 36% of respondents believe that the current leader is more capable of uniting the French people, compared to 31% who think Le Pen would do a better job in that regard. One third of respondents were unsure about the capabilities of either candidate.

Furthermore, 49% considered Macron to be the more dynamic candidate, with 36% finding him to be more sincere, and 44% rated his program as of higher quality. However, half of the respondents also described him as the most aggressive candidate.

In contrast, 51% of respondents felt that Le Pen could implement more changes. The survey was conducted online with 650 participants aged 18 and older.

The second round of the presidential elections in France is scheduled for April 24.
