Russia Will Wait for Ukrainian Negotiators' Response: Peskov
The Kremlin is surprised by the statement made by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, claiming that he has not seen any draft document presented by Russia to Ukraine. This was reported by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of Russia, according to TASS.
“We heard President Zelensky's statement that he has not received or seen any text, which raises the question of why President Zelensky is not being informed about our text variants,” said Peskov.
The press secretary of the Russian President also noted that Russia will wait for a response from the Ukrainian negotiators regarding the Russian version of the draft document. “In the last variant, our formulations were sent to the opposing side—the Ukrainian negotiating delegation, and we will await their response,” Peskov stated.
Yesterday, Dmitry Peskov announced that Moscow had sent a draft document to Kyiv with precise formulations and is now waiting for a response. He emphasized that the Ukrainian side consistently deviates from the agreements reached, negatively impacting the negotiation process.
In turn, Volodymyr Zelensky announced that Ukraine has not received any written proposals from Russia regarding resolving the conflict through negotiations.
