Prohibit Any Fundraising in Educational Institutions, Ministry of Education Says

The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia has recently received numerous reports regarding fundraising activities in schools.

Taking this into account, the Ministry has sent a circular letter to the Yerevan City Hall and the regional administrations, proposing that they instruct the educational institutions under their jurisdiction to eliminate such practices in public educational establishments.

A similar letter has also been sent to the directors of public educational institutions and private schools operating under the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports.
