Latvia to Strip Citizenship from Supporters of Russia

Latvia will begin to strip citizenship from those who support the military operations of the Russian Federation in Ukraine. This was announced by the Latvian parliament, which has approved relevant amendments to local legislation.

It is worth recalling that on February 24th, early in the morning, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the commencement of a special military operation in the territory of Ukraine, aimed at ensuring the security of the Donetsk and Luhansk republics, as well as removing the 'Nazi regime' in Ukraine.
