Germany Prepares to Supply T-72 Tanks to Ukraine with Slovenia's Assistance

The German government, with the assistance of Slovenia, is preparing to supply T-72 tanks to Ukraine. This operation may occur within the framework of a so-called circular exchange. Ljubljana will send tanks to Kyiv, and in return, Berlin will deliver German Marder infantry fighting vehicles and Fuchs armored personnel carriers to Slovenia, reports the n-tv television channel, as conveyed by RIA Novosti.

Russia's Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has stated that any cargo containing weapons for Ukraine will become a legitimate target for Russia. Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation, noted that arming Ukraine does not contribute to the success of Russian-Ukrainian negotiations.
