VIDEO: Matviyenko Mistakenly Addressed Pashinyan as 'Mr. President'
The interparliamentary cooperation between Armenia and Russia is developing very successfully. This was stated by the Chairwoman of the Federation Council of Russia, Valentina Matviyenko, during a meeting with the delegation led by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. The beginning of Matviyenko's speech is discussed, where she mistakenly addressed Pashinyan as 'Mr. President.'
She noted that this visit of the Armenian Prime Minister is dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries. Pashinyan and Russian President Vladimir Putin had serious and substantive negotiations the day before, signing a significant package of documents that testify to the mutual desire of the countries to expand and deepen their relations.
"We consider interparliamentary cooperation as an important part of interstate relations. This cooperation is developing successfully; you understand how important it is to expand parliamentary cooperation, which contributes to the implementation of bilateral agreements," said Matviyenko.
