Vahagn Aleksanyan on His Photo Being Used for Protest

ARJ member Vahagn Aleksanyan has commented on the use of his photo, which was attached to a pig during a protest held yesterday at Liberty Square.

He wrote on his Facebook page, requesting that his images not be used during protests in the future.

"I have learned that today one of the ideological leaders of the Chair Movement, upset by the low turnout at the elite rally, attached my humble person’s photo to his body and decided to address the issue of the gathering’s sparse attendance in this way. This leader, perhaps, is part of the movement's intellectual elite, as he understands very well that the picture of either myself or my teammates has a larger following than the entire cluster of powerful Chekist generals and thieves combined," wrote Aleksanyan.

He also mentioned that this action by the leader of the Chair Movement has received extensive coverage in the opposition media, including in the parliamentary newspaper by MP Taguhi Tovmasyan, which, in turn, proves that Taguhi Tovmasyan is not only one of the most charming female MPs in the National Assembly but also extremely smart and cunning.

However, with regret, I must request that this leader of the Chair Movement and all other leaders, regardless of their biological classification, refrain from using my photos at their gatherings or at least not attaching them to their own bodies,” Aleksanyan wrote.
