Pashinyan is in Nizhny Novgorod
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has arrived in Nizhny Novgorod as part of his official visit to the Russian Federation. He was welcomed at the airport by Gleb Nikitin, the governor of Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, Evgeny Lyulin, the chairman of the Nizhny Novgorod Oblast Legislative Assembly, and Yuri Shalabaev, the mayor of Nizhny Novgorod.
The Prime Minister first visited the "Gaz" automotive manufacturing plant, where he toured the facilities and became acquainted with the products, accompanied by the company's president, Vadim Sorokin. He then paid a visit to the Nizhny Novgorod Kremlin, laying flowers at the eternal flame to honor the memory of the victims of the Great Patriotic War.
Pashinyan toured the State Museum of Fine Arts, the Bell Tower, and the Alley of Military Glory, and visited the Cathedral of Archangel Michael. The Prime Minister held a private meeting with Governor Gleb Nikitin to discuss opportunities for the development of cooperation in various sectors.
He also attended a prayer ceremony at the local Armenian Church of the Holy Savior. Pashinyan concluded his visit to Nizhny Novgorod with a meeting with representatives of the Armenian community, during which he discussed the outcomes of his official visit to Russia and addressed various questions. These pertained to the situation surrounding Nagorno-Karabakh, cooperation between Armenia and Russia in the economic sector, the implementation of investment projects in the homeland, and other topics.
