French Danone Suspends Import of Evian Mineral Water and Alpro Plant-Based Products to Russia

French company Danone has suspended the import of Evian mineral water and Alpro plant-based products to Russia. On April 5, Danone's press service announced that the company would not be exiting the Russian market. This is reported by Kommersant.

“Danone has made the decision to significantly change its business in Russia, focusing primarily on dairy products, baby food, and healthy nutrition while halting the import of Evian and Alpro,” the company stated in its financial report for the first quarter of this year.

At the beginning of March, the company suspended its investment projects in Russia but promised to maintain the production of dairy and baby food.
