Yerevan Budget Supplement to Assist Citizens Displaced by War: Hovhannisyan

Yerevan's community budget for 2022 will receive an addition of 22 million 330 thousand drams, which will be allocated to assist citizens temporarily residing in Armenia due to the war, for their relocation to permanent residences. This was reported by Yerevan's First Deputy Mayor Levon Hovhannisyan during the latest session of the city council.

“Financial allocations for families displaced to Armenia during the first Artsakh war have not been foreseen,” he explained.

According to Hovhannisyan, the proposal also includes allocating 75 million 48 thousand drams for compensation related to the construction works on the Tichina-Babajanyan road segment, as part of the “Investment program for urban infrastructure and sustainable development projects” supported by the Asian Development Bank.
