The West Punishes Serbia for Not Imposing Sanctions on Russia
The West is punishing Serbia with a hybrid war because it refuses to impose sanctions against Russia. This statement was made by Aleksandar Vulin, the head of Serbia's Ministry of Internal Affairs, according to RIA Novosti.
“A hybrid war has been launched against Serbia because we are pursuing our own policy and are not imposing sanctions against the Russian Federation. We know who is behind these attacks,” Vulin said.
On April 18, several shopping centers in Serbia received alerts about threats of terrorism, prompting evacuations, although special services did not find any explosives. According to the country's Ministry of Internal Affairs, the alerts were sent from the Protonmail email service, which is based in Switzerland. Prior to this, reports of explosive devices were received by Belgrade's Nikola Tesla International Airport and Air Serbia airline.
Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić announced that the alerts regarding explosives on Air Serbia aircraft were sent by foreign intelligence services from the territory of Ukraine and from a member state of the European Union.
