Never Allow the Surrender of Artsakh: Presidents Seek to Initiate Unification Process

The newspaper "Fact" reports: Following Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and his allies' statements about the future of Artsakh within Azerbaijan, a massive wave of protests has emerged in Artsakh. According to our sources in Artsakh, former presidents Bako Sahakyan and Arkadi Ghukasyan, who have always been active in various agenda-related issues concerning Artsakh but preferred to remain in the shadows, have recently started a series of meetings with different political forces, figures, and active personalities in Artsakh.

The issue is clear: to never allow the surrender of Artsakh, and it is precisely in this regard that the presidents are attempting to initiate a unification process. According to the newspaper, current president Arayik Harutyunyan is also actively engaged in meetings and is everywhere calling on people to set aside party interests and join the effort to resist the campaign against Artsakh.

Our sources indicate that the authorities of Armenia are trying to exert certain pressures on Harutyunyan, including through blackmail and threats, as he has recently adopted a somewhat firm stance against the current Armenian authorities, or as the residents of Artsakh say, "it seems he has finally come to his senses." According to our information, the people of Artsakh hope that even at the cost of personal sacrifices, Arayik Harutyunyan will not yield to any threats or pressures and will not deviate from the agenda and principles that have been established in Artsakh.
