Japan's Prime Minister Promises Biden to Triple Loans to Ukraine, Reaching $300 Million
The Japanese government will increase the loans provided to Ukraine from $100 million to $300 million, according to Kyodo.
This announcement was made by Prime Minister Fumio Kishida during a video conference with U.S. President Joe Biden and leaders of EU countries.
According to Japan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the "urgent issue" is to continue rebuilding the Ukrainian economy amid the ongoing crisis.
Earlier, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz stated after the online meeting that Russia must not be allowed to win in Ukraine.
