Peskov on the Dynamics of Negotiations with Ukraine

The dynamics of the negotiation process between Russia and Ukraine could be better. This was stated today by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of Russia, in response to a question about the Kremlin's reaction to Vladimir Zelensky's statements regarding negotiations with Moscow.

“Of course, there is a dynamic in the negotiation process, but we would like it to be better, given that military operations are still ongoing,” Peskov said.

According to him, the Kremlin still does not want to disclose the aspects that are being discussed in negotiations with Ukraine. However, as Peskov noted, the Ukrainian side often changes its position regarding the agreements reached in negotiations with Russia.

“I want to remind you of the president's words that, unfortunately, the Ukrainian side does not show stability at important moments. The position often changes,” Peskov said in response to a question regarding Zelensky's statements about negotiations with Kyiv.
