Investigation Underway to Charge Jalal Harutyunyan, Says Relative of the Deceased

Preliminary investigation work is underway against Jalal Harutyunyan, General Baghdasaryan, and others, with the first complaint filed in December and the case still under review. This was stated by Yeghishe Zakunts, a relative of fallen serviceman Ruben Poghosyan, during a conversation with reporters.

“The chief of staff of the division, Gevorg Gevorgyan, has been arrested, and preliminary investigation work is being conducted against Jalal Harutyunyan, General Baghdasaryan, and others. We are patiently waiting for developments,” he said.

It should be noted that the relatives of the victims from the Tsori D-20 artillery unit are outside the Prosecutor General's office to file a complaint against Prime Minister Pashinyan. They base their complaint on Pashinyan's statement in the National Assembly that the war could have been prevented, which would have resulted in the same situation without casualties.

Parents of Tsori servicemen insist that their children encountered this fate due to incorrect information or a lack of information from the army leadership. In this case, the deputy commander of the artillery division of military unit N, Major Gevorg Gevorgyan, has been charged with inaction that resulted in serious consequences.
