Has the Tricolor Flag Installed in Yeraskh Disappeared? Community Leader Addresses Rumors

Recently, media outlets have circulated information titled "Where Has the Highest Installed Tricolor Flag in Yeraskh Disappeared?" The reports indicate that the Armenian flag has been removed in Yeraskh. This news has also been widely discussed among Facebook users.

Auroranews.am contacted the head of the Yeraskh community, Radik Oghikyan. When asked under what conditions the flag had fallen or been removed, the community leader responded that the flag had not been taken down.

“It fell due to the wind; no one has removed it. At this moment, the flag is flying in its place,” Radik Oghikyan told us during the conversation.

Let us recall that on September 21, 2021, the largest tricolor flag in the republic was raised in the Yeraskh community of the Ararat region during a ceremonial event. The dimensions of the flag are 6m x 12m, and the height of the flagpole is 35m.
