Zelensky Still Advises Refugees Not to Return to Ukraine

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky believes that refugees who left Ukraine should not yet return to their homes. He made this statement in an interview with CNN, which aired on Sunday.

“No, I think not right now,” he said in response to a related question about whether refugees could return to Ukraine once the situation stabilizes.

Zelensky also expressed confidence that the majority of refugees want to return to Ukraine and will be able to do so once military operations have ended. “I know the statistics; 93-95 percent of those who left want to return home,” he added.
