Argument Between College Student and School Pupil Leaves One Fighting for Life
Materials prepared by the Stepanavan Police have been forwarded to the Lori Regional Prosecutor's Office for further proceedings. According to shamshyan.com, on April 15, a call was received at the Stepanavan Medical Center reporting that a young man had been admitted in an "unresponsive state."
Doctors stated that the victim was unable to provide an explanation of the incident. Police have identified the victim as 17-year-old Hayk Gh. from Stepanavan.
While doctors were fighting for the young man's life, police quickly discovered that on April 14 at around 10:30 PM, an argument had occurred between Hayk Gh. and 16-year-old Emil H. near the Stepanavan sports complex. During the altercation, Emil H. struck Hayk Gh. multiple times on the head and then pushed him, causing Hayk to fall to the ground and sustain a head injury.
Emil H. was located, taken to the Stepanavan Police Department, and subsequently released.
According to reports, Hayk Gh. is a student in the 11th grade at Stepanavan School No. 1, while Emil H. is a first-year student at the Stepanavan Agricultural College.
