Azerbaijan Will Seek New Targets and Vulnerable Directions in Its Path to Achieving Goals: Tigran Abrahamyan
Tigran Abrahamyan, a member of the 'Hayastan' parliamentary faction, writes on his Facebook page: 'Azerbaijan's aggression aimed at the Parukh village and the Karaglukh mountain range was intended to strengthen the pressure on the part of Artsakh currently under Armenian control. The status quo of the post-war period has already created a complicated situation for Artsakh and Armenia, but Azerbaijan is trying to develop its advantage and secure complete control over the 'veins' vital for the survival of Artsakh, ultimately achieving the full depopulation of Artsakh.'
'The Azerbaijani scenario suggests that this way, the issue of full control over Artsakh will be resolved more quickly. Of course, the main supporter of this process is the Armenian government, which provides a green light for Azerbaijan with its statements. The recent Azerbaijani advance recorded in the Martakert region is part of this chain. Although it is officially stated that there is an agreement to return Azerbaijanis to their starting positions, there is no guarantee that they will adhere to the agreement or will not carry out a new breakthrough in another direction.'
'It is evident that Azerbaijan will seek new targets and vulnerable directions on its path to achieving its goals, which needs to be addressed on the ground.'
