Scholz Announces Plans for Germany's Military Budget
Chancellor Olaf Scholz intends to increase Germany's military budget by two billion euros, according to Reuters.
According to the agency's source, about 400 million euros from the budget will be allocated for the European Peace Facility, which purchases weapons for Kyiv.
Part of the expenses will be directed towards bilateral assistance with a number of countries, including Ukraine.
Earlier, Scholz stated that Germany is sending all available ammunition from Bundeswehr stocks that can be dispatched quickly to Ukraine.
