Results of Kinder Chocolate Laboratory Testing Announced
The State Service for Food Safety of Armenia has announced the results of laboratory testing conducted on Kinder chocolates.
No discrepancies in microbiological indicators were recorded in the samples taken from products bearing the Kinder brand, according to the laboratory findings.
It is noteworthy that, in light of reported cases of salmonella contamination linked to Kinder chocolates in several European countries, the Armenian Food Safety Inspectorate had initiated monitoring measures on the chocolate products of this brand. As a result, samples were taken from batches available at two organizations importing Kinder chocolates and were sent for laboratory testing.
The suspension of sales for Kinder brand products imposed by the regulatory body has now been lifted.
