Appointment of Ajapnyak Leader Not Unanimously Accepted in CP․ "Hraparak"
“Hraparak” newspaper reports that the appointment of Kamsar Babinyan as the head of the Ajapnyak administrative district has not been unanimously accepted within the CP. Our sources find it strange that during this time, when Nikol Pashinyan has intensified his campaign against the former leaders, one of their representatives is appointed as the district head. Babinyan is among the long-time municipal employees, having held the position of head of the health department of the Yerevan City Hall since 2012. Additionally, he is a friend of Arman Sahakyan, son of Galust Grigoryan.
Within the CP, it is believed that this appointment is a betrayal of the revolution, forgetting that Kamsar Babinyan is neither the first nor the last former official to be appointed to a position by this government. Interestingly, there were talks that in this position, the son of MP Hovik Aghazaryan, Hovsep Aghazaryan, who recently held the position of deputy head of Ajapnyak, would be appointed; however, he was dismissed by Hrachya Sargsyan, or more precisely, by Tigran Avinyan.
