The US is Not Planning to Return Seized Assets to Russian Businessmen
The US administration does not intend to return the assets of Russian businessmen that have been seized due to sanctions imposed against the Russian Federation by the West. This was announced by Jake Sullivan, the US National Security Advisor, as reported by the RIA Novosti agency.
“Our goal is not to return them. Our goal is to make better use of them,” Sullivan stated during a speech at the Washington Economic Club. Thus, the White House representative responded to a question about whether the US plans to return assets, such as yachts, to Russian businessmen.
Sullivan declined to disclose the details of the administration's plans, citing ongoing discussions on the matter at the White House.
