Kyiv is an Excellent Venue for Negotiations: Peskov on New Round of Talks

There is still no understanding regarding new face-to-face negotiation rounds between Moscow and Kyiv, Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov has told reporters.

"No, there is still nothing," he said in response to a question from TASS.

According to Peskov, Russia considers Belarus an excellent venue for negotiations with Ukraine, but Kyiv's opinion is also important in this case.

"From our point of view, Belarus would certainly be an excellent place for negotiations, but you know that the Ukrainian side's perspective is still necessary for this," he stated.
