War Will Turn into 'Endless Bloodshed' Without Additional Weapons, Zelensky Says
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has released a new video warning that the war will become an "endless bloodshed, spreading misery, suffering, and destruction" without additional weapons, according to The Guardian.
Speaking in English, Zelensky stated that Ukraine has defended itself against Russia "much longer than the invaders had planned." He emphasized that Russia could launch attacks "not only against Ukraine."
"Poland, Moldova, Romania, and the Baltic states will become the next targets if Ukraine's freedom is defeated. More weapons are needed for the salvation of "millions of Ukrainians, as well as millions of Europeans," he said.
He specified, "We need heavy artillery, armored vehicles, air defense systems, and combat aircraft." Zelensky concluded his remarks by stating that "freedom must be better armed than tyranny." He added, "Western countries have everything to implement this. The final victory against tyranny and the number of saved lives depend on them."
