Video: Large Cache of Weapons Discovered in an Apartment in Yerevan

As part of a criminal case initiated under several articles of the Criminal Code at the investigation department of the Avan and Nor Nork administrative districts, the Chief Department of Criminal Police, the Criminal Investigation Department of Yerevan, and special forces, along with officers from the Nor Nork and Avan departments and territorial investigative bodies, executed a search on April 11 in an apartment located on Gyulikevkhyan Street in Yerevan, based on operative data.

The law enforcement agencies discovered seven pistols, three Kalashnikov light machine guns, an anti-tank grenade launcher, grenades with detonators, over 600 cartridges, and other military ammunition. Additionally, they found substances resembling marijuana weighing over 125 grams.

A 57-year-old man and his 30-year-old son were taken to the Nor Nork police station and subsequently arrested. Prior to this, within the same criminal case framework, on March 29, thanks to the effective explanatory work of the criminal investigation departments of the Yerevan police and the Nor Nork divisions, a resident of Yerevan voluntarily surrendered a factory-numbered rifle, anti-tank grenade launchers, 13 magazines loaded with 186 cartridges, and more than 2700 cartridges of various calibers and firearms.
