Video: Putin and Lukashenko Meet and Head to Vostochny Spaceport
Russian President Vladimir Putin and Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko have met in Blagoveshchensk and are en route to the Amur region's Vostochny spaceport, as reported by the BelTA news agency.
As expected, the leaders of the two nations are traveling to the spaceport on the same helicopter. The visit to the facility is timed to coincide with Cosmonautics Day.
The presidents will familiarize themselves with the construction of the launch complex and will talk to pilot-cosmonauts and employees of Vostochny. The political figures will discuss current issues on the development of bilateral relations in a face-to-face format.
