Ministry of Emergency Situations Reports Rockslide on Road Section
On April 12, at 06:16, the Vayots Dzor Regional Crisis Management Center received a report about a rockslide in the Vardenyants Pass near the Karavanat area, making the road one-way traffic only.
An operational team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations has been dispatched to the scene.
It was determined that a rockslide (approximately 1.5 cubic meters) occurred at the 32nd km of the Getap-Martuani road, causing the road to become one-way traffic only.
Rescuers have cordoned off the area; special equipment is required to remove the rocks.
