Sardarashen Also Falls Within Enemy's Sight: Azeris Near Village Hill
The Azerbaijani armed forces have advanced not only in the Parukh-Karaghlu direction but also towards the village of Sardarashen in the Askeran region. This was reported to 24News by the village head, Haik Hakobyan.
Hakobyan stated that the Azerbaijanis control certain lands within the administrative territory of the village. “About 100 hectares of land belonging to the village remain under Azerbaijani control from the Khacheni valley, and a plot of land covering 3 hectares is under Azerbaijani observation, making it impossible to cultivate. The Azerbaijanis are also located about 3 kilometers from the village,” he noted.
According to the village head, there are three Azerbaijani units stationed near Sardarashen, each consisting of approximately 150 soldiers. “The concentrations on the hill fluctuate; sometimes they increase, sometimes they decrease. The village is behind the hill, and it is not fully visible. However, there are lands that the Azerbaijanis can see and fire upon,” he added.
